Close by you have the Cape Cornwall Golf Club, which has keep fit facilities and an indoor pool. You can have temporary membership or pay daily. The Club also has a restaurant open to the public and does Sunday lunch and a Friday night feast, as well as all other meals.

A mile away is the town of St. Just that has all necessary amenities: small supermarkets, butchers, bakers, post office with cash machine, fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway, and several pubs, most serving meals.

Ocean View is ideally situated for discovering this local area, the working fishing cove (Priests Cove) with rock pools etc. is only 5 minutes walk away, a few minutes more to the top of the only Cape in England (Cape Cornwall) which is owned by Heinz but run by the National Trust. Coastal footpaths to Sennen Cove & Land's End or Zennor & St. Ives renowned for artists, good restaurants and the Tate Gallery.

You can visit the Minack open air theatre - or take a trip to the Isles of Scilly. Further afield is the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
